Professional Dive Oxygen Analyzer
The OMS® Professional Dive Oxygen Analyzer is perhaps the most
accurate analyzer in the world: +/- .05% full scale, and is CE approved
for Medical, Industrial and Marine use. A new precision 2-3 lpm flow
meter that incorporates a precision ruby orifice and submicron filter to
prevent clogging, is attached to an OMS® first stage regulator, is rated to
4500 psi and now offers high accuracy flow rates, at any cylinder
pressure. The precision flow device (Item # OX-492) can be purchased
separately or the HectOx that attaches to your BC inflator hose can be
utilized. This analyzer is designed for those divers that are interested in
getting the highest accuracy gas readout possible. |

SAFETY ADVISORY May 2006
Warning : Many aftermarket oxygen replacement sensors, have dangerous readout errors in excess of 5% (as tested) due to lack of compatibility with the Analyzer. This type of error can result in you having a gas with a higher or lower PO2 than planned, possibly resulting in hyperoxia, hypoxia and even death!
Please note that the replacement Oxygen Cells offered by Oxychec for OMS oxygen analyzers fall into this category. We have extensively tested these cells and found that they can have a full scale error rate of up to 5%!
Play it safe and always use Original Equipment parts in your equipment.
WARNING: Ocean Management Systems Inc. will not be responsible for any injuries or death due to the use of unapproved Oxygen Sensors in OMS Oxygen Analyzers.
For example:
Oxycheq Oxygen Sensors Model numbers: R33D1MP and R33D1M have not been tested for use in OMS Oxygen analyzers and are therefore: not authorized for use by OMS and b. Void the OMS warranty. Additionally use of these sensors may result in inaccurate readouts.
